12/05/2025 - Internationals were picked up and are in transit. All orders should be shipped now
12/04/2025 - Internationals are scheduled for pick up tomorrow. We are just waiting on more shipping labels. After that we are finished.
12/02/2025 - For this second production run we have 294 missiles to make a ship. UPS just picked up 254 missiles. All domestic orders are shipped. We only have around 40 international orders left. Those should be mailed out tomorrow hopefully. You should get an email with a tracking number once your missile ships. IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS email Nattie: sundaynobodystudio@gmail.com. We have made and shipped 454 out of 505 missiles. All that’s left are internationals.
11/24/2025 - Assembly is going faster than expected. We are now just waiting on screen printed middle tubes to be finished on Wednesday. Hoping to have all missiles shipped out by Dec. 5th. Nattie and I are taking off Wednesday-Friday for Thanksgiving.
11/20/2025 - We started assembly yesterday. About 10-12 people showed up to work. We got a lot done. I don’t have a clear estimate on how long the full production will take yet. My very rough guess is 2-4 weeks but I’ll have a better idea once after a couple more days of work. We have 369 missiles to make. I’ll update with exact numbers produced as we go. Screen printing of the middle tubes is estimated to be done Wednesday of next week.
11/18/2025 - CNC parts have been delivered. I’m hiring as many people as I can to get the assembly of the 369 missiles in the 2nd batch done as fast as possible. I’m unboxing now and will get the mid tubes to the screen printer. If you are a Seattle local and want to come assemble missiles click this LINK: $25/hour. Show up anytime 9-5 Monday-Friday. Address is 2418 Airport Way S, Suite 4, Seattle, WA, 98134.
11/14/2025 - CNC parts have been delivered to the Seattle shipping terminal. However they are delayed until next week. Something got lost in the shuffle and there is no lift gate service for the delivery. So we have no way of unloading. I’m trying to sort this out now. Currently I’m waiting to hear back from the shipping company. I’m hoping early next week is when we will take delivery. I’ll update here as soon as I know more.
11/12/2025 - CNC parts were not delivered on the 10th or 11th. I’m trying to sort out what the delay is with the shipping agent. I’ll update here as soon as the CNC parts are delivered.
11/9/2025 - We are expecting CNC parts to be delivered this week. The delivery company told us Monday or Tuesday (10th or 11th) sometime. I’m trying to find a bunch of people to hire for assembly so that we can get through production as fast as possible. If you live in Seattle (or know anyone) and want to assemble missile sculptures in the studio email: sundaynobodystudio@gmail.com. $25/hour.
10/30/2025 - Still waiting on CNC parts. Parts are arriving at the port Nov. 7-10 and then require another 10-15 days to clear customs and be delivered to the studio. Everything else is ready for production. CNC parts are the only blocker as of now. We will try to finish production of the 369 missiles in the second batch as fast as possible.
10/14/2025 - Just got word from the CNC part supplier that the shipment is delayed until November 7-10th due to a week long holiday in China. This may set our shipping estimates back some but we will try to get them out asap. We have finished cutting out the windows, so it’s just a waiting game now
10/13/2025 - All 3D prints have been completed. We have finished the inside PCB housings for the most part, outside of a few we are waiting on PCBs for. Outside of that, we just have a few more windows to laser cut. 2 weeks until the CNC parts arrive and we can start with full assembly.
10/8/25 - All orders in the first 200 have been successfully shipped out. We have heard great things about the cardboard boxes ability to keep the sculptures undamaged even internationally. We have finished adding the internal pcbs to their housings, and have finished the first step in making the mini boxes. We have 109 / 1845 3D printed pieces left to print and around a third of the windows to laser. We should be done with everything we can do before the CNC pieces come by the time they arrive around the 24th.
9/28/25 - On Friday Nattie and I shipped the international orders for the first 200 missiles. Fins and missile bodies were sent separately to simplify customs clearance; all hardware to attach the fins is included. Of the internal 3D prints, 1,257 of 1,845 are finished and the printers are running nonstop. All the mini Amazon boxes have been lasered; we’re still lasering the iridescent windows (42 of 123 sheets cut). Our main limiting factor is delivery of the CNC parts, we expect to have everything ready once we take delivery and can start full assembly of the 369 missiles in the second wave.
9/25/25 - Missiles should all be shipped by November 25th. This is a rough estimate given production/shipping/assembly time. We are shipping the first wave international orders tomorrow, you should have received an email (or two) today with tracking numbers if you are in that group.
9/24/25 - We got all the v02 missile boxes and are now working on packing up the missile fin boxes and missile body boxes (shipped separately to make clearing customs easier). We should have the first 200 international orders shipped out by Friday. CNC production for missiles 230-505 is still underway in China, I’m hoping to have those shipped out from China to the studio by mid October. I’ll update when I have more info.
9/21/25 - V02 stronger boxes have finished production, we are scheduling drop off this week. We need to rent a forklift. Hoping to have international orders (in the first 200) out by the end of the week.
9/11/25 - Nattie and I are in Greece for an install, we return on the 15th of Sep. The iridescent windows have been delivered but still need to be laser cut out. For the internal 3D prints, 768 out of 1845 are printed. International orders (within the first 200 orders) are just waiting on v02 stronger boxes to finish production and be delivered. Estimated delivery for those are Sep. 24th. Hoping to have the first 200 internationals shipped out before Oct.
9/4/25 - We have most of the supplies for the missiles, we are waiting on CNC parts from China, 3D prints to be finished and iridescent windows to be delivered. Nattie and I will be gone in Greece from Sep. 7-15th for a project install and will be less communicative than normal during that time.
8/27/25 - I just got an estimate for the arrival of the v02 stronger cardboard boxes order. All of the shipping boxes should be arriving at my studio around 9/24/25. This is only relevant if you were an international order in the first 200 orders (everyone else is waiting on CNC parts from China). Nattie and I will need a couple days after the boxes arrive to pack up the international orders (from the first 200 orders) and schedule a UPS pick up.
8/26/25 - CNC parts are expected to arrive at the studio Oct. 20-25th. That being said, my experience with these things is that there are often unexpected issues, so that Oct. 20-25th ETA should be taken with a grain of salt. I’ll update here if there are any snags in CNC production which delays things.
8/23/25 - Production is still underway for missiles 230-505. CNC production is underway in China. Myself and Nattie are doing what we can prior to CNC order arriving. The supplier for the v02 cardboard box ran into a production issue which has delayed the completion date. The v02 boxes are delayed, which in turn delays shipping out the international missiles from the first 200 orders. I’m still waiting for the box supplier to give me a new completion date (I’ll update here as soon as I know).
8/16/25 - V02 stronger cardboard box production has begun. Estimated 2-3 weeks until box production is finished. International missiles in the first 200 orders will ship once boxes are finished. CNC parts for 2nd missile production run are ordered.
8/13/25 - Total number of missiles sold was 505. Nattie and I have started production on the second run (346 more missiles). I’m ordering all the necessary parts, the CNC parts will take the longest. I’ll update when I have more information about timeline. I’m planning on making 50 extra missiles as a back up in case any get damaged or lost during shipping.
8/9/25 - The timed edition ended today, on Monday (8/11/25) I’ll figure out the final number of missiles sold and start the process of ordering more CNCed parts as well as more robust shipping crates cardboard shipping crates, apologies to the people whose wooden crates broke during shipment, I should have designed the crates better. I’ll have Nattie my studio hand respond to any customer service emails on Monday. If you’ve got any issues email him at sundaynobodystudio@gmail.com.
8/06/25 - Waiting for the release to end on 8/09/25 to get a final number of missiles sold. After we know the total, we’ll place the order for missile parts and shipping boxes.
7/26/25 - The first 200 sculptures shipping within the U.S. will be sent out ASAP. We're currently waiting on custom cardboard boxes to fulfill international orders. If you're among the first 200 customers, you should receive a shipping confirmation email within the week. After the timed release ends on 8/10, we’ll order CNC parts for all sculptures beyond #200. Please allow several months for production.
